lol its gonna funy when gta iv fails too sell 360s!

i thin it will sell more too the ps3 since gta has always had the sony brand over it :S

the 360 gta iv will sell better on 360 bigger install size (even tho 6m of those 360s have rrod atm *-) lol

but the guy that goase too go buy a system whit gat thay will say sumthing like DLC whats that i never owns a next gen system lol hmmm i always had my gta o a ps and wow this system looks nice it has a free gt5 p inside wopw only 399 hey thats a nice looking mgs4 cut out out you got there! (gamestops in my area have mgs4 theams! :) i will run out whit 1 next week and run like hell and put it in my room lol! HAHAH! :D muahha!

but yes gta iv will sell more systems on ps3 svgh people arnt on kotaku 24 hours a day and peopel that dont own a next gen system probly dont knwo what is DLC or what is in it if there freind tells em abotu dlc he would thnk its a xbox color car or a few cheat codes thatcome inside the box lol

and most game shops will (hopefully have there gt5p and mgs4 theams still up) :)

So, given this, yes I am probably wrong. 25m should be hit in this calendar year, i.e. 360's 4th 52 week period due to holidays of 2008. But, it will die off quickly after that and definitely not hit 35m.


It should end 2008 with 24-25 million, 2009 around 31-32 and 2010 about 35-36. zOMG! Only 35 million in 5 years with no support from Japan.  Every other console that has sold more than 35 million won their generation and had support from all 3 markets

Last gen xbox and gc were really close. This gen Wii is untouchable and PS3 is finally starting to get the hype and games that should have been here last year.

Originally, 2006, I had LTD pegged around 60m or so for PS360 each and 90+m for wii. Now it seems that Wii is trending much higher around 130m and PS3 is back in for a good 80m. That leaves very little room for a 3rd competitor.

I'm am betting the 360 won't sell 25m now.

 Actually, what I said my young padiwan, was that primary game development would be on Wii and then the games would be ported to PS360 since the Wii has a much higher userbase and continues to streatch its lead.
