Late May......... same as Splatoon two years ago. Everything is pointing at this being the next Splatoon (next new big IP).

If executed well, it could be a significant new IP (I already think Springman and Ribbongirl could make cool Smash additions).  There are three things they need to do:  make sure it is substantial (Pokken Tournament levels at least), show the traditional controls, make sure the traditional controls work.  Cause no matter how great the motion controls are, the traditional controls are crucial fo it being a game that makes sense for the Switch.  You need to be able to play it well on the go, not just on the tv.

Is it just me or is that 6-game chart for 9 months not inspiring the most confidence in a "steady" flow of games. Especially since I highly doubt Xenoblade 2 is out before Mario - and honestly think it's unlikely we'll see it in the States until 2018.

There is a long time in between Summer and Winter (you know, Fall - an entire season).

Realize how Wii U had a godly 2014 year and went downhill

I'd rather avoid that. Seeing things spaced out not only makes droughts less common, but makes me think less of saving money for games

Wii U had some great games in 2014 but it still suffered from poor output with Nintendo published titles.

February-DKC:Tropical Freeze

May-Mario Kart 8

September-Hyrule Warriors

October-Bayonetta 2

November-Smash Bros U

December-Captain Toad

3-4 month gap between big releases in the first 3 quarters then a solid Fall/Holiday lineup.

It would have been better if it was Feb april june august October December

Xenoblade 2 fall confirmed. But also there is skyrim fire emblem warriors and project sonic as well as steep which all look like fall to winter 2017 games

Wait, it's not a launch game? Wow.

How does that confirm late May? It could just as easily be June.

It's noted as a spring-release. And Mario Kart is April but the OP assumes it comes before Arms.

Well its only listing 1st party games and you are forgetting about Fire Emblem Warriors releasing in Fall and there are like 50 3rd party games announced for this year.

So like i said, June is just as likely since its only listed as Spring.

I thought Spring is March, April, May and June is already Summer.
