Yeah, while I would've preferred it to be a bit longer, I actually loved the first game's campaign. In fact, as someone who isn't into online multiplayer, I found Splatoon one of the best games of 2015 on the strength of its single player alone.

I can understand it, the game was so refreshing, charming and fun even on its single campaign. Then in the multiplayer was just epic, worse than drug, Splatoon is still my favourite game of the gen.

Online multiplayer in general just isn't my cup of tea, I find it too chaotic and stressful. But yeah, still loved the game for being so fresh and fun and just feeling so damn good to play. Also, it has one of my favourite final bosses of all time.

Oh, you slimy little hipster, that boss is unforgettable.

This, Zelda and ARMs is going to make my plan on waiting until at least the holidays for a Switch real difficult.

Glad to hear there is another singleplayer game too

The freaking music too.

Why no release it as a eshop $20 USD game add on for the first one?
*Oh the old times*

"Miiverse posts worked especially well during Splatfests. As an example, when there was the “Cat vs. Dog” competition, a lot of player posts were sort of like memes. It was almost like a call and response between developers and players. There is no Miiverse on Switch, but Nogami wants to create a similar feature which will generate the same kind of excitement which is created by the interaction between developers and players."

PLEASE! I loved going from Inkling to Inkling and seeing what sort of post or art they had made. It's part of the plaza's charm.

Also, give us Octolings! You want to lock it behind an Amiibo, go ahead. I will pay money to be an Octoling. Don't you want my money, Nintendo?

Hopefully splitscreen makes a return, but I doubt it would happen D:

Yeah... when they said Miiverse wouldn't be around anymore, at first I was like "ehh, whatever". But then I remembered Splatoon, and I got a little bit sad.

It's not just the posts on the Plaza, but the awesome way in which they show up everywhere - on walls, on the stages, and in the fireworks during Splatfests. It just made the whole atmosphere of the game feel so... live. And it was great.

Definitely. I fear Splatoon 2 won't have one as good but the Switch has a touch screen so maybe it'll still be there. I hope so.

Too bad paid online kills thé whole interesting of this game
