And if I were to add something, it also came out in November into December, being the holidays/Christmas time where people had more money in their pockets to buy stuff, while the Switch is launching in March.

I used to think that ment something but the 3DS also did around 1.5m worldwide first week despite launching in February/March. The Switch is better than the 3DS, so it's no surprise that it'd perform similarly if not better.



...is that a good thing? I find that hard to believe, to me it sounds like Nintendo seriously understocked. Well, they at least acknowledge their current niche position, if That's the case.



I'm now filled with determination.
