Will Uncharted 4 outsell Halo 3 lifetime globally?

Currently, Uncharted 4 has sold 8.21 million physical copies.  However, with digital sales, the Uncharted 4 total could be 10 - 11 million copies sold.  Digital sale numbers are not officially released, but probably make up for 15-30% total sales.

The best sellling Halo game (Halo 3) has sold 12.12 million copies, but Halo 3 was released when digital sales were almost non-existent. 

By the end of 2017, I fully expect that Uncharted 4 will surpass 10 million physical copies which should beat every Halo game (except Halo 3). 

By the end of Uncharted 4's run, I think Uncharted 4 should get to 11 million physical copies and then add 2-4 million digital copies, which should surpass Halo 3 total lifetime sales.

With bundles and sales, it seems reasonable to think that Uncharted 4 will sell at least a couple of millions more.

As long as Sony keeps releasing UC4 bundles then it's definitely likely.

Man, Halo 3 was a beast. Uncharted 4 is pretty beastly, itself. I don't think it will quite surpass Halo 3, but 10-11 million is nothing to sneeze at.

It was at "more than" 8.7 as of what Jan 6th TOTAL. So while I do feel it will easily cross the 10mil mark. I do not think it is currently sitting at 10 or 11 million. Now will it outsell Halo 3..... that is a tough call but if it keeps selling well with the bundle and through out the next few years it is reasonably possible.

It was confirmed at 8.7m as of Dec. 21st (physical + digital). So maybe like 9.5m total in 2016. It shouldn't have trouble doing 12m especially with The Lost Legacy boosting sales.

But by the way Halo 3 had pretty good digital sales and according to Microsoft Halo 3 sold 14.5m as of 2012. So Uncharted 4 would have to sell like 15m to beat it which probably won't happen.

You are correct it was Dec 21st and the total sales of PS4 was as of Jan 4th on that article so I was incorrect on both fronts lol!
