Aren't the Falcon problems unknown? They haven't been around long enough to be able to see if they rrod

and the story is like questionable. its like makes people want to attack the 360 the way its set up.

Asides from mostly pointless anecdotal evidence, what facts do you have to back this up? |
I don't have to, my description wasn't quantified... It was subjective. If the PS3 fails at 2-5% and the Xbox360 fails at 6-12% you could say it's slightly more. :)
Anecdotal evidence is all we have, I couldn't believe that RROD would still be a problem... Why would Microsoft pay $150 per every 10 consoles to fix problems instead of fixing the cause?
Ok... The Falcon Xbox is more reliable that the non slim PS2.
Tease.
Ms must love knowing that their fuck up is getting people to by another 360 to solve the problem.
You spend money on a console you expect it to last a long time. Its not a newspaper, it is a lot of money for a console in some countries.

True, but people were getting the RRoD within weeks of purchasing a launch console. Falcon's might still RRoD but probably nowhere near the speculated 30% number of previous models. I waited to buy a 360 until I was guaranteed to get a falcon. Also I thought that since the 3-year RRoD warranty will cover me until January 2011, by then I wouldn't care because the 360 will probably be less than $150 and the next generation will either be out or looming.

Well, if the PS2 was reliable it would have dropped off the sales charts sometime last year! :)
Tease.

@squilliam
you cant compare the failure rate of the ps2 to the failure rate of the 360. also, the 360 doesnt have technology that you would consider new and untested in previous years. and even with the new falcon, the failure rate is still high, i dont think the main problem is the chip, seeing as how both the ps3 and wii have a 90nm and both their failure rates are well under 1%.

I have my console vertical and out in the open. The majority of the 360's heat is produced on the left side, which faces down if you have it horizontal. I figure better to have that side up and allow cool room air to hit it. |
well, whichever side the vent is on, don't block it.
EDIT: i'll check into that actually, I didn't know that.
And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need...
