Too bad it doesn't seem like you can use that cover as a stand like how tablet covers can.

That's not a bad design. This actually is a delicate solution to my problem. If they don't make a Switch TV (ala Vita TV) I can buy this cover for the switch and super glue it to the tablet and dock.

Are people really seeing this as a joke product? Damn, that really shows how divided the industry is.

Screen covers are a common accessory for tablets. Its less bulky than a protective case, and still protects the screen when youre not using it. If this thing is cheap I would buy it (if i decided to buy a Switch). It seems like a much better alternative than buying a carrying case for everything.

The switch already comes with it's own kickstand, like the HTC phones had.

Oh ya!! I'm just so use to seeing these covers to double up as a stand I forgot that the NS already has a built-in one.
