Man did RE6 really hurt the franchise that much?? I mean this has good reviews and we've had good spin offs since RE6 but this is well behind franchise standards.

Thats great news!We all knew that 4 millions units wouldnt happen.

With this, I think the game can easily surprass 5 millions units this year alone.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Hopefully it will pick up as the months pass. But yeah, I would say it did hurt.RE 6 was a terrible game in my opinion.

I think it was the progressively wrong choices made for the franchise. Resident Evil 6, the awesome Revelations 2 butchered into chapters that ultimately damaged it, the not so great first edition of RE7 demo. There's a bunch of factors.

RE6 was so bad that I didn't bother finishing more than one out of the 5 campaigns.

7 so far is actually surprisingly good and it could revive the franchise. I was concerned it would play like those indie horror fps games that have overrun the market, but it very much so feels like Resident Evil.

nice, i think their goal was 4 million by the end of March so hopefully it keeps selling.

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

Bomba, oh well.

that statement must have been taken out of context or something, i thought the same thing in another thread but a few people corrected me saying it was year-end fiscal shipments.
