Have you ever played Bioshock?

The original Bioshock was fantastic. Infinite was decent but it felt like a big step backwards to me (the fact that they changed to a "you can only hold two weapons" system just baffles me). Haven't played 2 yet and I doubt I ever will. The System Shock games are next on my to do list (actually I'm already a bit into SS1 but its not the remaster so its a bit of a bitch to play).

Personally, I like it almost as much as the first game. It honestly varies from person to person. Best gameplay, but environments aren't quite as good as the first game, and neither is the story, though I still really liked both of those aspects of it.

I find a lot of times, those who really like Inifnite don't end up liking 2, and people who really like 2 don't end up liking Infinite, like me. But just play for yourself and see how you like it. It's definitely not as bad as some people make it out to be.

Well I liked both the first Bioshock and Infinite, so which category would I fit in?

The first one is universally liked, it's just Infinite and 2 that seem to be split. It's just a trend I've seemed to notice, but that doesn't mean for sure you'll dislike 2.

I've only played Infinite, probably going to pick up the Bioshock collection when it comes down in price

Adored the first two games.
Bought and played them on PC back in the day.

Even bought a second copy of the first two games for the Xbox 360. They are still in their plastic, unopened.

Infinite sadly never grabbed me. Never got past the first half hour.

Bioshock 2 is a fantastic game and Minerva's Den is probably the best DLC of any Bioshock game.
