Forums - Gaming - RE7 is so damn boring.

It's more narrow because it's first person. it's first person to give you less sense of surroundings. Much like how tank controls were done on purpose to hinder movement to increase tension. This is a deliberate design. If you were given wide open spaces you can get away much easier thus taking away the scare factor.

I'm not scare because the way the levels are designed. I always expect something around the corner and not suprised by anything. Maybe it will pick up. Just so boring right now for me.

Again RE is not for you. Nothing wrong with the game.

Fantastic, that totally sounds like old RE games. Can't about that XD.

But I loved RE 2 and RE 0 (not that popular)

I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and all that! If you don't like the style of the game, that's totally fine, but from your description/the description from others too, it does sound more akin to the original RE games.

No, but I did try out some demos for psvr. Is RE vr any fun?

The game is good, but to me it's not Resident Evil. The Bakers are great characters but I prefer traditional zombies.
I got a refund from steam and I'll definitely buy it again when it's not $60.
No

And the severed limb mechanic is a little silly to be honest.

I'm currently taking a break from exploring the disection area with a nice hot cup of tea. It's frigging nerve wrecking in VR. Hiding from Jack and Marguarite was bad enough, now there's molded popping up all the time making my legs feel weak. It's the first time since Silent Hill 2 I'm having physical reactions to a horror game, and much stronger than with SH2 on a projector in a dark room 15 years ago.

I actually had to check online what to do next, looks like I completely missed a puzzle in one area, too busy staying alive / running back to the safe room. How are you supposed to even think about a puzzle in that basement...

Perhaps I should rethink turning off the aiming reticle. I could use some easy headshots, yet it breaks immersion and feels like cheating. Hmm, I'm almost done my tea, time to head back into the basement :/ help.
