Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Would you buy a Switch android clone?

If I wanted something like that, I would just buy a nvidia shield. The only reason to me why hybrid gaming has the potential to finally work is because a company like Nintendo, who have the IPs and name value to sell the idea, decided to give it a try.

Doesn't Ouya run on Android? So an Android Switch clone should run Ouya games, which hopefully gives a better library than just smartphone games available through Google Play.

Just produce these peripherals with minimum phone specs and don't use the Ouya name.

Not sure how you get all that with a 5.5" 1080p phone for $180 though.

No, Android games don't really interest me. However I would like to see a Playstation one.

Nope, I'd just spend the extra 150 on the Switch which I know will have good games even if the system ends up being a failure financially.
