I'm actually really surprised. I was in GameStop today and they were no longer accepting pre-orders. They had signage up in fact.

And my friend who skipped WiiU altogether just asked me what games he should pre-order with Switch.

This is all anecdotal of course but it's still surprising. I figured people would balk at the price.

PS4 sells ~250k on a typical week.  Beating that during launch window of a new console is not exactly something to make a thread about.

Can I point out a mistake you're making in using old charts?

So if an item is no longer being sold by anybody on Amazon, the item get's retrospectively deleted form the charts. Wii U was released in Nov '12 and yet it's not in the top 100 for that month. Unless I've missed it, that model is probably no longer stocked by anybody and removed form the charts because there is no way that the Wii U didn't enter the top 100 for that month.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

Yep nothing exclusive ( except arms a mini game boring after 5min but sold at full price( what à sha me)and Splatoon 2)
