Forums - Nintendo - Switch's Monthly Free Games are only playable for the month. You don't keep them.

Yes this was known.

Does that make it ok though?

I've said this before and I'll say it again: horrible value unless the 'service' is extremely cheap.

It doesn't have to be ok. It's a completely optional service.

If consumers perceive it as not good enough to spend money on it then that's Nintendo's problem alone.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Hey! You all should be thankful Nintendo is letting you play 20-30 year old games for free! / s

and then people wonder why I believe Nintendo shouldn't be in the business of selling hardware and services...

whoever things this is a good deal must be high on member berries

If that's true it better be a lot cheaper than XBL and PS+.

cant believe some people are defending Nintendo strategy! This is Xbox one DRM level of stupid.

It's weird, I'm not seeing anyone complain about the fact that you're getting games from like 20 years ago and not Nintendo Switch games. I honestly thought that more people would expect Switch games considering PS+/Gold.

Most people seem to just be complaining about the fact that you can only play them for 1 month.

"There is only one race, the pathetic begging race"

I'm fine with that. Upgraded classics I can enjoy for a month >>> GwG/PS+ garbage that I might boot up once and never touch again, that's what 95% of those games are.
