Forums - Gaming - I think im done with Playstation and Xbox

So yeah after 4 generations of playstation and 3 generations off Xbox om think I'm done. I've already sold my Xbox one and will never consider one again. It seemed to take ages to process and ran out of hard drive space super quick. Xbox gold was really good though with the four games often been AAA games ( which I never played like Sunset and lords of the fallen). I was super hyped for Fallout 4 only to get bored real quick, and just build a community for awhile. I loved Black flag but burned out on AC so unity and Syndicate are basically unplayed. UN4 bores me. Bloodbourne frustrates me ( really liked it's art style though).

I'LL keep my PS for VR I think but yeah think I'm going to just game a very select 1 or 2 titles a month on Switch. Seems like they could be a little more fun to play at piss ups etc. Sorry for the rant

Are you sure that you won't regret this decision?

I'll keep my Playstation due to VR. Xbox one has gone already due to been completely irrelevant owning to my PS4 been better in every single regard except the monthly free games.

Well if you are still gaming on PC at least, then you will get many of the big games.

I don't buy it.

I have a gaming PC that I rarely touch. Out off interest what do you consider big games? I really really can't think of a single game I'll miss?

It maybe though that I've been gaming since N64 and PS1 days. The games haven't really changed outside off Wii and VR. They just look alot better.

This is no rant at all, dude if u are doing basically the same thing like 20 consecutive years it is obvious it will become repetite some day. Get a break, pick only games u are really hyped. Just take it easy cowboy.

You are just like a friend of mine who  have played over 1000 hours in Destiny and now hes complain there is nothin to do in the game.

Yeah I mean I used to play game alot through school college etc now I'm married and stuff I don't get as much time, I seem to prefer collecting games now and never really playing them which is kinda expensive lol. Thanks for the kind words though :)

Mass Effect Andromeda, Resident Evil 7, South Park, Prey, Kingdom Hearts 3, Red Dead Redemption 2 etc...

Altough I don't own a Xbox One I like my PS4 altough I do play on PC more but I am planning on buying a scorpio, either way your argument that the Xbox one HDD space fills up fast seems to be more in place for PS4 since you can attach almost any external HDD on the Xbox and it will just use that.

Doing that also speeds up things on the XBox from the reports I have seen since the game data and system date would be on different drives.

Anyway, always play on the platform you like playing on but never "dismiss" a company by their current console, innovation and other consoles in the future should still get a chance for your attention!
