No, never. I'll just stick to their singleplayer games from now on.

Well it depends on the points.
As of so far I believe the information is:
-$60 a year.
-You don't keep the games
-You get one NES game OR SNES game per month. I don't know if it by your choice, or what though.

In that case? Absolutely not.

edit: Apparently it is one NES OR SNES game. It is literally getting worse each time I read about it.

Priced isn't confirmed.

I'd be willing to hand over My Nintendo gold coins for the occasional month of access to online multiplayer. That would be a viable option to consider, certainly better than having them expire.

No, most definitely not.

And you remind me of another thing that makes this a stupid move; Splatoon 2. So they've actually succeeded in making a new IP that's successful, but now they hinder it by limiting it's potential userbase because of payed online, and thereby technically making it a pretty expensive game?

Well, I mean, If Nintendo decides to give away free games each month as Sony and MS do and if said free games turn out to be amazing games - as opposed to the very average games Sony and Ms usually give away - Then I might consider it.

Are they really giving away free games though or is it more like renting? Honest question.

If the do truly give games away and it costs $20 or less a year I would consider it at some point I suppose. But most likely no. I never paid for online for PS4 and will not for switch. And on top of that it's my opinion that people that do have no life. There's more than enough games to satisfy me with single player and local mp without having to pay more.

This here is a brilliant solution for otherwise useless coins.

you know i have to say i have found this attitude a bit confusing. An online infrastructure costs money to sustain. I don't mind paying for a service when i'm not being forced to buy it. I will do the responsible thing an wait to see the service offered, weigh the cost and then make my decision. Also, the games available for such a service is important. After watching the treehouse stream, i think Arms looks pretty interesting. Especially after i found out you can use a standard controller configuration for it. I think the online might be pretty fun. I really like the 1st splatoon, and look forward to the second. All that being said, if the fee is too high, or the perks too subpar, then i will pass. We will see in time.

No, and sadly, my online gaming comes to an end.
