I want to get a feel of the general reception since a lot of people on this site seem to be thrown off by last night's conference.

Has the console sold out on any major sites or online stores? Is there any news on how things are looking at this early stage? All the silence is making me wonder if this console will start off slowly or get a nice jump into the market. Any news would be nice. Thanks to anyone that provides information. And I am not talking about one region either. I am talking about any country or region that anyone can provide information about; positive or negative.

EB Games in Canada kept crashing. But somehow people got in to buy it because it says sold out now. Super pissed.

I think its too early to tell, and there will be places that isnt acepting pre-orders yet, like Nintendo, but there was early reports that it was sold out for a few minutes, and then restocked(or ordered more, I dont know).

Looks like the system and the Zelda special editions are sold out on Amazon.

The base system (grey and red/blue) and the $130 Zelda special edition are sold out at GameStop. There are still bundles available.

Not sure about Target, Best Buy, and Walmart.

I figured since we may not get official word for a minute, we can try to keep each other unofficially updated.

The only place I can pre order from Best buy is some random city in Illinois (I live in Missouri) like 70+ miles away lol

I was in 3 best buys this morning, 2 walmarts, 4 targets and a gamestop. I did not see one single switch unit. It's sold out everywhere.

Dang. I was not expecting that, to be honest. This is actually refreshing news as a fan.

Ya it selling really well, hope I can get one day one even if I don't get preorder like I did the PS4.
