Nah, you worry too much, Sony didn't even try and still won. The logical reason as to why they are down is due to not having as many bundles due to not having great third parties to bundle with. Next year with RDR3, BF 2, Destiny 2, COD will show the true power of the playstation brand. Plus Sony, not even trying as hard outsold MS best month.

#Common Sense

lol, ok.

They weren't "trying" with a new revision, a new remodel, PS VR, and a $250 price promotion on top of new games like Final Fantasy XV (which has it's primary fan base on he PS4), Uncharted 4, etc. etc. etc.

People chose not to buy a PS4 this Christmas because they'd rather wait for a bundle, it couldn't be that some of them opted to buy a XBox One S instead. Sure, sure.

Compared to last year they didn't and you know that.

MS has had a ton of bundles every year.

Why is it now magically bundles are suddendly the difference? They have things like that Madden bundle every year.

How does this refute my argument? As a I recall, there wasn't any Gears 4 bundles or Battlefield 1 bundles in 2015...

Sorry but I call bullshit on this. They definitely "tried" this year, you just don't like the sales gap as much so you're saying they didn't try.

That's a lame excuse.

It refutes it because MS has these types of bundles every year. There's nothing special about the bundles they did this year.

You're going to get one third party centric bundle(s) from MS every year. This year tha was Battlefield 1. And one first party one as well. This year that was Gears. And the sometimes they'll throw in a "family/kids" centric bundle option (this year it's Minecraft). Then they always also do the Madden and (in Europe) FIFA bundles.

That's a standard MS thing.

Even I have to agree with you on that one.  If someone wants to make the argument that they aren't trying in say January, after the big holiday push, I might give that to them.  To say that they aren't trying during the busiest months of the year?  Remarkably short sighted.

Gee, guess someone should've told MS all they need to be competetive with Sony is to make a few more bundles. Yeah I don't buy it.

because now there was the XB1s?

Come on....

But that's false. You can't just make a sweeping statement like "MS has these types of bundles every year" and call it a day. You only pointed out at the Madden bundle, but refuse to acknolwedge the other ones. Sure, there's nothing special about the Gears 4 or Battlefield 1 bundles... even though those games weren't out in 2015...

Is there any wonder some of Microsoft's fans are shameless?

What's wrong with that statement if that's true? MS has been dramatically more competetive since the XBox One S launched and even the much balley-hooed PS4 Pro and PS4 Slim have not stopped XBox One from having a very good holiday season apparently. December was their best month ever, meanwhile Sony is somewho down year over year despite having a new model and revision and a $250 promotion.

While what u are saying is true you can't say stuff like that around here. You will get pushed around by the hoard.

Halo MCC will sell 5+ million copies(including digital)

halo 5 will sell 10 million copies(including digital)

x1 will pass ps4 in USA, and UK.

I hear that.

Not bad at all!Even if its a bit lower YOY, its still an excellent number.Soon enough, this will get even more interesting with the Switch!

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.
