arguably not on a streak lately at all, their Starfox game (albeit not their fault) was overall a disappointment since it seemed mostly just like a reskin, and their Ninja Turtles game (despite highly anticipated) was a mega disaster

its been a big downfall for Platinum Games of late, not sure what is going on with them

Splitting themselevs up to make 6 games in the past 3-4 years has definitely not done them much good. But that's their problem though, that's on them for biting off more than they could chew. Not even fans could defend the choices they made themselves when they took up those 6 games over a short few years.

I know. 300 people in this thread alone were desperately looking forward to the game's successful launch, waiting around ready to heap praise on the console the moment the game launched, and make excuses for Microsoft if it turned out they forced through a game that was not going well.

I feel really bad for them, they've suffered a real loss.

I'm also loving this totally not newfound hatred for MP based games. Not like Overwatch got any bad rap for being MP only, no sir.

The problem is Microsoft seemingly trying to make everything they own have a focus on MP.  Most likely that terrible 4 player co-op at last E3 was an idea from MS. The output of singleplayer focused exclusive games on Xbox One is pretty bad.

Totally Platinum Games fault for not hitting the 'milestones' set by MS!!!
It's a cruel world I'm afraid.
I asked my wife to clean the car last week and 10 minutes in she only cleaned and waxed the body. The milestone at 10 minutes was to clean waxed and hoover inside. She missed the milestone I set so now we are getting a divorce. Her Fault!!

I think the word 'milestones' will be the buzzword of this thread!

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).
