And yes they are, imho the ps4 is a fantastic console, but since day one I was like "yup, I'll buy the ps4" not just because of the games, but because their marketing affected the perception of the massess in a good way.

For everyone his or her reasons. Someone might go fishing and need a weight for the net, so he gets a PS4 to do the job. 

I can understand your point about perception, but even then it's the expectations about the upcoming games that matter. It's like you young females who like to give a perception - that works a while, but in the end the young guys are going to end up with girls who go beyond the perception.

We are talking about consoles and now You're saying this gender vs the other gender. it's quite stupid to be honest because if you're talking about people wanting to be perceived as something else, that shit flys with every gender. Gays in the closet trying to be perceived as macho men, slutty girls trying to be perceived as good girls and poor guys trying to be perceived as rich guys with their jordans and chains. so the "you girls vs young guys" response, F- for the ignorant response.

Exactly. Nintendo needs the Switch to be a success, but Nvidia too because they can't afford to give all the console industry to AMD.

 

Also, I find very interesting something that Huang said: "That entire experience is going to be very Nintendo. The beauty of that company, the craft of that company, the philosophy of that company--they're myopically, singularly focused on making sure that the gaming experience is amazing, surprising, and safe for young people, for children."

I find that description very accurate, and also the origin of some of Nintendo's problems.

cuz it's the most boring console of all time in my book. It made me get back to PC again. It feels like a PS3.5.

No, it came 3 years later and they're using the power for upscaled 4k instead of 60fps.

lol nah. Its just more spin. Remember when Krazy Ken said that using the PS2 would be like plugging into the matrix? Nvidia needs to say this because this is their first and only chance to be a part of mainstream gaming. They don't wanna miss out because Nintendo refused to use actual quality parts and instead opted for cheap parts that Nvidia stopped caring about years ago.

Bloodborne came 2015, greatness has been there since then, pretty much what it took for the PS3, with MGS IV in 2008.

the misinformation on this post is mindblowing, first the tegra is the best mobile chip out there, also "their first and only chance to be part of mainstream gaming" looool wtf, they have the best gpus that money can buy...also...

It did for me with Xenoblade Chronicals.  It won't play on the OG 3ds.
