And he's got a damn good point too! If you're trying to say all discrimination is bad then you can't throw in a (except for this group which I hate) otherwise you're just a massive hypocrite.

The question doesn't make much sense, because it's asking if we'd be pre-judiced towards neo-Nazis, but if they're openly acknowldedging that they're a neo-Nazi, isn't that their whole goal? For us to know it, and get a certain reaction out of them?

You got warned because of personal beef between Raven and Kerotan. Several weeks ago Raven had to kick Kerotan from the VGC discord channel and he is tired of Kerotan's complaints. Kerotan's thread needed to be locked, so Raven decided to throw a Kerotan a bone by taking action against someone else as well, all in hopes that Kerotan might shut up. You just happened to be the first person to post in Kerotan's thread.

Now Raven only needs to add a note to your moderation history that the warning doesn't count. This can done in secret, so the official version will always be that Kerotan got his will and you were legitimately warned for your post. And of course you will have to cite the official version in case that somebody asks.

I'd appreciate it if you didn't comment on things that you have no idea about, as you're not a moderator. Green accused another user of being a troll directly, which is something that's against the rules. I can either choose to ignore it and get questioned about it, or follow the site's own rules on the subject and still get questioned about it. There is no conspiracy, as I am probably the last person willing to throw Kerotan a bone for anything.

Quite redundant since it has been inactive for about two weeks now. What I really want is that such threads get locked a lot sooner in the future and that the moderation might extend beyond merely locking the thread, although that has to be decided on a case by case basis.

Related, I'd like that the mod team acts when I make them aware of such threads. I don't want to be ignored.

He's obviously insinuating that neo-nazis should be respected.

And there is a very big difference between what neo-nazis are doing and what the OP was doing. Neo-nazis discriminate people because of e.g. their skin colour or their ethnicity. This is bad because a) people can't choose their skin colour or ethnicity, b) people aren't doing any harm by having the 'wrong' skin colour or ethnicity. The OP on the other hand, is just being disrespectful towards a group of people who support the killing of millions of people and who encourage hate and racism.

I think you're blowing it a bit out of proportion there...

He never said he thought all Jews should be slaughtered or that he supports everything the nazis did. If he actually thought that then he wouldn't need to deny that the holocaust happened because he'd be proud of it or something. He's pretending the terrible stuff they did never happened in order to justify his support, rather than supporting them because of the terrible stuff they did.

Well, I'm sure if he's denying the Holocaust because of that, or if he knows that accepting the Holocaust will mean that a large number of people won't accept his ideology, so he has to whitewash it in order to make it more appealing.

You know, I guess the mods are unpaid, so this may be asking a bit too much, but have you guys ever thought of doing community events? I have no ideas in particular, unfortunately, but maybe having something new once a month or so could help spice things up.

I have (in the form of hosted topics). I'll be doing a bit more in the Fall (particularly to strengthen the PC community here), but Axum and Miguel come up with ideas for events and the like quite often. 

Oh, I don't remember your hosted topics to be honest! I guess Axum does do the Most Wanted, and Miguel does make some threads himself too.

When a thread is borderline trolling, or someone is being a dick and baiting or whatever, we will always have an influx of people callng out the OP or whoever made a silly comment. I'm sure I've explained this to you before, but there is a significant level of flexibility in the rule set where we can use common sense to hand out punishments for shitty behaviour. 

Bunch of people calling a poor thread a troll thread, when it's been clearly aimed at getting a reaction, isn't going to get them moderated.

This would go on a case by case situation, again with the mod team discussing whatever has been said and coming to an agreement on if it's a) backseat moderation and worthy of us looking closer at it or b) worthwhile and helpful to a users progress on the site.
