Where do we find the email again? I remember trying to find it once and I couldn't. I haven't looked much since.

It's a section of Rule 1

What the heck ... it's also in the OP

I've been bamboozled this whole time

Just thinking about how much more hours I could have spent arguing ...

Will you keep people updated if you need new mods?

The mod team has traditionally put out a thread for applications when the time comes for fresh faces. On rare occasions, applications from the previous bunch are taken into consideration.

Considering how bloated the team currently is, as well as the significant downturn in forum activity and the need for moderation (at least, outside of political threads), you shouldn't really expect mod recruitment to be popping up any time soon outside of a complete overhaul of the mod team from the ground up. As far as I'm aware the mod team is currently at an all time high in terms of numbers.

While you're here CGI, what's the mod teams current status on jokes and taking things in context?

Also, one for the entire mod team.

Can we get a clarification on what you define as trolling?

Are reports get sent as anonymous?

What has caused the significant downturn? I've been frustrated with the amount of threads i've had to create lately to keep sales discussions going. I couldn't nobody had made a GTA V 100m sales thread after so many hours so i had to yet again go to the effort of making the thread. What's going on?

Nope. Generally you won't hear who reports who but there have been times where the mods have brought it up to suit their arguments so I wouldn't take your anonymity for granted.

Imo, the cause of the downturn comes from a few things. I think the rise of big social media sites and other options like Discord have hurt VGC. ioi not updating the site for like a whole year or so made it so a lot of people left the site, not a lot joined during that time period, and then no one was then making articles about VGC numbers on other sites anymore after the numbers started to be posted again. So the visibility of this site is almost nothing anymore. We use to be able to replace every user that left with a new one, that 1 to 1 conversion doesn't happen anymore. One final issue I think is that the ads are so bad that it drives away a lot of the casual users away from the site.

Is it time the forum section gets on overhaul to make it more like resetera or neogaf?
