On principal, yeah but I didn't look thru the thread yet. I'll give a definite answer after I read through it. It's possible that both deserve moderation. In general, insulting others is far worse than stating unsubstantiated opinions.

The issue is whether or not his unsubstantiated arguments were legitimately his mistake, or if he did so with the intention of getting a rise out of someone.

What part about on principal you don't get? Did you also not the rest of it?

It depends almost entirely on if he was intending to get a rise out of others or not.

He made statements of opinion that can't be substantiated but the counter to his can't be substantiated either. He did explain his opinion and why he thought it. It's not like he's making up fake numbers or holding an opinion against overwhelming evidence like flat earthers.

The one post about drugs is an argument that could made about any product that was popular but the fans not learning a lesson about the company's habits. It's not unique to one fanbase, all of 'em do it to some degree. Anyway, the real meat of this is whether or not he posted with the intention of riling up people. It doesn't seem like it.

I've seen him posting on other kinds of threads. He just states what his opinion is just as it is so his posts turn out edgy or seem mildly insulting to something he doesn't like. It never comes off as his intention was to rile up anyone. I disagree with him a lot in the other threads so I have no reason to side with him on this other than on principal.

I've been moderated before because people baited  me with posts in the style of pagans. Never once did I see Rol defend me. Hence why he'll never be the unbiased dark Knight of vgchartz. He's very selective in who he defends which really underlines the intentions of these crusades. 

Thats uncalled for. You believe he protects me for example but he calls me out whenever i actually do something wrong. 

You believe this because he calls you out alot. I do see sometimes people bait you, i get it but you do the same thing. Thank god you calm down though recently so ill give you that 👍

I didn't think of you at all when writing that post so you might want to re-write that reply with that in mind.
