So, I'm very late for this and almost thought I'd skip it this year but then I thought it would be a shame to miss a chance to shine a light on the very reason this place is still great after all those years: its community!

So I'll do a shortened version of the tournament this year, I'll still be starting with nominations but they'll be fewer users selected for the classic elimination rounds.

So here’s how it’s gonna work:

  • You make a list of up to 20 users (you can name only 5 if you want to) you think deserve a place on the tournament (in no particular order)
  • The votes will be tallied up until January 8th 2017
  • The first 32 users to 5 votes will make it in the tournament, should less than 32 users gather 5 votes, I'll then go with users 4 votes and so.


Rules:

- You cannot nominate yourself (because it’s sad, really)
- You can vote only once.
- The users nominated have to have been active during the year 2016.

Sidenote:

- If someone wants to opt out of the tournament they can say so here.

Even though it sounds weird, the way Trucks wrote it wasn't inherently wrong. What's the very reason this place is still great after all those years? It is community! (not sales, not articles, but community!)
