The answer is simple : NO . The game did only 38k in its " first week " in the others region . Why is this number way to misleading ? Well for two reasons :

   1. The game was shiped to retailers on the 28th , and it only had one day to sell .

   2. The game was only released in the UK and a couple of others , while most Mid and East European countries have the release date on the 31st ( meaning that the game only started selling today ) . I can confirm the release date ( 31 ) for the folowing places ( at least ) :

   Romania , Hungary , Bulgaria , Ukraine , Greece.

So please people before starting posting ridiculous stuff like  " OMG GoW just bombed !!!!! The PSP software is doomed !!!!! " look around for some other facts to ... 

To be quite honest, I don't think most people even noticed. Which in itself says a lot.

How you know you are a huge fanboy?

You claim that sales in Romania, Hungary, Greece, Bulgaria and the Ukraine can save a games European sales.

I would be willing to bet 90% or so of European game sales come from the countries like Germany, France, UK, Spain, Italy etc. And that a truly tiny % come from Romania, Hungary etc.

Looks to me like your going to lose your ban bet by a pretty huge margin.

Well, its certainly better than every single other PSP game released in others. Games like WipEout Pulse and Pursuit Force do not even have any sales

Relatively, compared to other games in the series (plus the 6 billion commercials I have see for the game on tv) it has bombed thus far. The US version sold only 200k thus far. Overall thats good sales for a psp game that is not FF or MHP. In time it should do better.

 I know that the countries Ive had enlisted are far from beeing real sellers , but at least these are certain . Except the UK , France and Spain ( maybe even Geramany ) I dont think the game was released on the 28th in much more places . 

Anyways , bealive it or not , I dont care , but you will see what I was talking about when the second wek numbers will arrive :) 

I don't think anyone noticed either. Since GT5:P and PS3 did well this week.

Relative to GOW 1+2 then yes it hasn't done well but relative to other psp games its not doing too bad.

 Actually both GoW games did much worse on the PS2 in Others than in Japan . Though I know the numbers are bprobably undertracked , the difference is still huge :

Also , dont forget that GoW opened to a much bigger crowd with 166k in its first wek in the US , while CoO sold 150k in the first week . True , the drop is much sharper , but it is expected , since software attach ratio and units number is much smaller :)
