Besides Pokken and TMS, it's for the best that we don't remember the other 2016 Wii U games.

It'll be interesting to see if these games get anymore votes. I figured they'd get atleast one, of the games of this tier, it's only Mario Party, Mario Tennis, and amiibo Festival that I expect/hope get zero votes.

Paper Mario: Color Splash is pretty solid game and Wii U actually had only few games in 2016, so I dont think that Paper Mario: Color Splash is comparible with Mario Party, Mario Tennis, and amiibo Festival in any of those cases.

I already realize it's not a totally fair comparison as the mediocre 2015 games have far steeper competition than the mediocre 2016 games, hence my second sentence. Picking Starfox/Color Splash over Pokken/TMS isn't too much of a shocker, but I'd be compelled to ask for an explanation if someone picks Mario Tennis/amiibo Festival over Splatoon/Mario Maker.

Around the Network

2012 - Nintendoland
2013 - Super Mario 3D World
2014 - Mario Kart 8
2015 - Captain Toad Treasure Tracker (was 2015 in Europe thankfully otherwise I wouldn't have a clue what to put for this year)
2016 - Zelda Twilight Princess HD (sad that a remaster, which wasn't that good a remaster, wins this year)
2017 - Zelda Breath of the Wild (obviously)

Totally agree consider that Splatoon/Mario Maker are one of best Wii U games while MarioTennis/amiibo Festival are one of worst. :D
