What deals did MS try to bypass? Are you talking about that stupid Destiny cologne? You're talking as if there are many of these things. What are the others?

And yeah, entering last gen Sony was sure as fuck singing a different tune than the one they ended up singing after they were "humbled" by the poor PS3 launch. Arrogant Sony is and was a real thing. Either way, not going to waste any more time debating this with someone who is making stuff up and throwing out words like "crying", lol.

How we forget when we truly wish to.  Here is a refresher.  And instantly, because it is MS, you excuse it with "Oh, that stupid Destiny thing."  Funny how they don't do that anymore?  Threaten of legal action from Activision and EA, perhaps?

And you are right.  It's best to bow out when there you are losing and there is no victory in sight.

Oh god. I hadn't read about this stuff. That's just embarrassing.

Jesus, Xbox, I'm trying everything in my power to like you. LET ME LIKE YOU.

Hehe those SW and Destiny ads were cheeky and clever 😁

I actually found the "bundles" more hilarious.
Microsoft wasn't allowed to bundle in Destiny so they had a "choose any game bundle" that included a couple games.. one of them being destiny.

Yup and I don't know why us gamers should care about advertisement deals or whatever these companies do. I mean, both Destiny and Star Wars are online only games so the more they sell, the longer there should be people playing. Xbox gamers want those lobbies populated too.

What people don't understand is that there are 17 different Phils. They cloud-sync once every 2 or 3 months.

So its kind of funny and awkward when they find out what the others have been saying.

LMAO! Comment of the thread.

Can you elaborate?

Dead Rising 4 timed exclusive deal was made when Phil was in charge.

I doubt it. When 3 was being made they were already planning 4. Devs plan their next game while making the one they are already making. Knowing Dead Risings history on the xbox360 im sure Mattrick got 3, and 4.

Thanks for the one word answer with no explanation.

Yea will be interesting to see if Phill keeps his word by them not buying DLC or timed exclusives. But idk if it will make it easier because MS still buys marketing like Witcher 3, Fallout, and FIFA.

Don't you think publishers would be more open a marketing and exclusive DLC deal than just a marketing deal.

Giving a console exclusively first doesn't help the Devs it mostly just helps the consoles company like Sony,MS,Nintendo.

Why is this thread not dead yet?
Obviously these companies aren't going to stop trying to get people to buy their console over the other's by getting stuff exclusively or first on their console.
As the head of XBOX, Phil needs to stop crying and start playing the game his company started in the first place.

Because, man... this kind of stuff is like scripture. People need to know the truth about people who do bad things.

Xbone... the new "N" word   Apparently I troll MS now | Evidence | Evidence

Phil Spencer is different from Don who bought the time exclusive campaign rights to COD and BF. Phil could've easily kept that up, but he wanted to make new games and come up with new ideas. It's been working because xbox one is selling like crazy right now. This is what made me love the ps3 a lot was the exclusive game after another. Not to mention third party games are becoming less and less frequent and more and more the same.

Holy fuck, my coffee went everywhere... you bastard.

I just picture one of the Phils running around nervously. "guys.... I'm still on Windows 7, my Sync tool stops being supported in Jan.... I COULD SAY ANYTHING!!!"

Care to elaborate on that?

Cause upcoming games funded by MS are:

Scalebound

Sea of Thieves

Halo Wars 2

Crackdown 3

State of Decay 2

And For Sony they include:

Horizon Zero Dawn

Dreams

Days Gone

Detroit: Become Human

Death Stranding

Spiderman

Gravity Rush 2

Gran Turismo Sport

Gravity Rush 2

Knack 2

The Last of Us Part II

Hotshot's Golf

MLB The Show 17

WiLD

Matterfall

Drawn to Death

What Remains of Edith Finch

Microsoft's video game producion is the worst it's ever been. 343i, The Coalition, Turn 10 and Rare are the only first party stuios they have that make games.
