Until yesterday the PS4 across most retailers has been cheaper than the X1 thats 2.5 weeks out of the 5 of the NPD period before both consoles dropped to $249 the PS4 had a week at $269 followed by a combination of $269/$249 with a $50 free PS plus 1 year card for 4 days.

MS seem to of finally stepped up and are matching or beating the PS4 price at majority of retailers currently with the $229 Miencraft bundle or retailers offering $249 + $30 gift cards.

Amazon and gamestop are still offering PS4 at $249 with a $25 gift card and Walmart and Amazon are also offering the PS4 at $229.

So far the PS4 should be in the lead as it's been the better price or effective price with gift cards but with MS now lowering the pice or offering gift cards with the console should keep them close it could go either way for December.

PS4 by a smidge. It took an early lead from winning Cyber Monday. There was also that limited FFXV PS4 Luna bundle, so that adds a bit more. Not to mention, FFXV favors the PS4 way more than the XBO. In the UK, the ratio was 80% PS4/20% XBO.

FFXV will count in December NPD.

Ugh are they still talking about "CrapGamer sales figures" that PS4 sold 100k more than Xbox in US

Some stuff that has came out are backing up the rumor.

I think ps4 will beat xbox1 by slight margin............
cant say about the numbers though......the difference is going to be around 50-100k
3ds takes the third place......
and the last place obviously which is reserved for wii u ....

That website has a track record of correctly leaking stuff. And the guy running the site said it is 100 percent true. Also more convincing to me is that no one has denied it, in fact it got a retweet by a Microsoft employee.
