I agree. I'm always having Amazon and eBay deliver me things, as well as pay all my bills online. Electricity, cell phone, credit card payments, cable and internet. 

 

And yes online food ordering is the shit. My papa johns, Pizza Hut and Domino's apps get used frequently.

Do you have a 360? You can simply get it from there without needing any payment option.



Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

I bought a $20 debit gift card. Bought $18 worth of stuff and then put that info into the Xbox. No problems and now I can download everything onto the Xbox without issue.

Don't most companies do this? I know Apple does it for downloading free apps.

I assure you apple and Google do NOT do this.

 

Google does ask for payment methods, but you can always skip it, same for apple

PSN is the same, right? I tried to get a free game a while back and it said that there last time I logged in was on a different PS3 and that I needed to re-enter my credit card info.

That's different. That's when you have credit card information already linked to your account, you need to re-enter it when signing into another console, or you have the option of not reentering it and they remove your payment details from the account.

They may still do what the OP is complaining about though, I have no idea. It's not really an issue for the majority.
