That is what the Scorpio is built for: Getting Ark to 1080p.

Watched the FPS test, and saw it drop to 5fps and then freeze for abit.....

W T F? how can they sell this product in good faith, knowing it runs like this?

This was the Xbox One version, if PS4 version is as bad as this.... I dont even.

*edit: Watched the PS4 version, at 680p it runs almost locked at 30fps constantly. Doesnt appear to have stutters or freezes.

Its a horrible resolution but atleast its running well enough to be playable.

I mean, I'm not exactly a stickler for resolution, but holy crap, 720p/30fps on PS4 Pro is pretty shocking.

I struggle to think of another game in recent years this badly optimized.

I enjoy the hell out of Ark on my PC. It is the most poorly optimized game I have ever played though.

It's also going to be on PC with OR and Vive as well, Sony just snagged marketing.

Ark runs like such trash on everything. The devs got cocky by tossing in content and then trying to charge for DLC, before the game is even finished, as well as spending all thise time trying to avoid optimizing the game in ways that aren't minimal patches. Funny thing is I've been getting patches nearly every few days from Ark, and a lot of them are just them adding in Dino's equipment, tweaks to what they already added, but no massive optimization crunches.

If a 1k and over PC cannot handle Ark at 1080p 60fps on ultra, then there is no way Pro is going to either.

Ark runs like crap in anything it's released on, it's basically a running gag at this point since the devs have made no effort to make it better on any platform
