Its just Sony being geedy.

I rather get Rocket league day one, than Dead space that came out in 2008. New > old. edit: Also never is an odd phrasing since you can just buy the game. I can buy star wars battlefront new right now for $10. A physical copy. Hell I can get the Deluxe edition for $10 dollars new. |
wow your posts in this thread are weird as hell.
the average EA game comes 6 months later into the Vault. ONLY 6 months later. Think about that. That's crazy fast. Games are still ~$30 at that time. EACH of them. For only $2.50 a month (with the 12 months subscription) or $5 for a single month (even cheaper from key sellers).
Last month, Mass Effect 1-3 and Mirror's Edge Catalyst came into the Vault (among others). I completed all of them in that month. Paid 2€ for the subscription. How's that not an awesome deal?
@bolded
wow that doesn't make ANY sense. None.
You just compared a PS4 offering to a Xbox360 offering and not even from the same month.
You know, at the same time when Rocket League was part of PS+, Games with Gold had the Xbox One version of Assassin's Creed IV. That should make the comparison much fairer.

Not really. PS Now is a streaming service where you can rent games for a time or pay a sub for a year to play games, without installing them on numerous devices including now on PC (no hard drive needed). Mainly has PS3 games. PS Now is comparible to Netflix. EA Access, allows you to download the games and play them as though you own them onto your console. Mainly this gen games. EA Access is comparible to PS+ or Live but those services offer more than just games. |
Except that's EA's explanation, so....
Watch me stream games and hunt trophies on my Twitch channel!

Most likely because EA and Sony could not reach a deal. I can't think of anything Microsoft would have to lose by allowing EA Access but Sony likely thought it would pull consumers away from their own services. They would have to see how a deal with EA would be beneficial in terms of revenue. Given the subscription rate, there is likely very little profit going to the console manufacturer.
That's the way the real world works. Businesses have to look after their own interests or they cease to be competitive. It's understandable but it's also a shame for those interested in EA games.

EA were comparing EA Access to PS Now? That's silly of them.
Hmm, pie.
| BraLoD said: Nice to see you again, doing the usual :D You are answering your own question in your own post... Sony doens't want it there, because it doesn't want something it doesn't find it good enough to be there. |
Its a great service for the price, people on Playstation want it, EA wants to bring it, but Sony is the barrier.

It's cheaper to rent the game as you want it instead of paying for access. Not sure how this has value to come out ahead for having it.
Because it is a Scam. EA doesn't really have that big of a liberary outside of the same old as we usually get, to pay 15$ a month to play a few games 2 days earlier and get a few shitty games for free. I have Orgin, the only difference is early acess between Original Orgin and EA access, the 15$ a month is actually a theft, you barely get back anything of value... so i you wanna pay 15$ a month for one freee EA game a month even though EA doesn't have enough games to really offer you anything good for free, because you would already have bought it for EA access.
Soon pretty much every company will do the same by offering their own independent Service ad charge for it, so keep on pushing us into that direction, we did it with Dlc's and so on... People have chosen that life isn't worth more then throwing money on companies for skins and textures.

PSN: Opticstrike90
Steam: opticstrike90
Wait you want it?
And if sony does this whats to stop activision, capcom, square, Ubisoft...basically everyone from doing it? Then no publisher promotes stuff like that any more for free because they have to cater to their subscribers. Imagine having to pay $30/yr to all you favorite publishers and still have to pay $60/yr for your PlayStation service.
No thank you.
