Hi guys, most of the time I browse on vgchartz via an android smartphone. Mostly on the chrome beta browser. But as of today, I get redirected to phishing or spam ad sites while being on the front page of vgchartz.com. I can fix this by deactivating javascript. But by doing so, I will not get any ad and also some features are gone. I only have this issue on this site. I want to support your site but this is way too much. Any idea?

I am doing what you are, Javascript off. If a site is unusable without Javascript than I have no need of that site.

The mobile version of this site is pretty horrendous. Everything from userbility, navigation, ads that block all, half, important parts of the screen....

Brett has pretty much stopped all support for this site other than paying for the hosting. It's a shame as the site is literally now supported via the goodwill of mods and users.

U block is good, along with Privacy Badger as well.

Ad block or U block is already good enough, but if you want the little extra, you can add noscript on top of it :p

Get adblock, or, if you really want to support the site, pay a few bucks (dunno the precise price) to become a supporter. Afaik, the money from being a supporter doesn't go to ioi (who doesn't give a shit about this site anymore, as sad as that is), and only to the writing team (not sure if the mods get anything.)
