That would be awesome.

I don't see it doing calls and texts along with wireless music streams tbh. I think Nintendo want it to be a hyrbid gaming console. Not a tablet that already exists for Skype and music. |
Yeah, just have to wait and see. I am holding out hope that they will at least offer a 4G version. I don't see how a device can even exist in todays market without video and music streaming options. As long as they offer voice and text chat via a Nintendo App for ios and android, then I can get by, just like I do with Vita right now. Ultimatly, I would like a Vita or Switch like device from Sony, Nintendo, or Microsoft that had full phone support so I could get my home security without needing another phone, and I would have a safe avenue to make emergency calls.
At the end of the day I see little value in a non 3G/4G mobile device, and I see zero value in a device that has no buttons or joysticks. So there is nothing on the market currently that I feel deserves any of my money. I am really, really hoping Nintendo can finally deliver the product that Vita should have evolved into with a 4G and Phone model in its 2nd or 3rd year.
Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.

PS Vita have around 4 to 5 hours , i am expecting switch to get the same battery life. I guess it will close to Vita rather then 3DS because Vita was a powerful handled when it was released. And also Nvidia Tegra tablet also has the same battery life. So i am fine if it's below 6 hours , hell even 4 hours battery life is more then enough. Combined with fast charging on USB type C. Then that device is good to go. Now i hope the machine does not get too hot on my palm like Nvidia tegra

It's not that hard. I've told people in the previous thread regarding that ridiculous 3 hour battery life rumour that it was bullocks. It's a tablet, so it packs a sizeable battery. Anyone that used a tablet knows that they get a lot more juice than smartphones. It's the same CPU, a bigger screen but a huge battery.
Vita uses a 2210 mah battery while a New 3DS XL packs a 1350 mah one. Those are ridiculously small. My phone packs a 3500 mah one. A tablet can easily go over 5000 mah. The Shield tablet has a 5170 mah battery and Switch is, quite frankly, just a repackaged successor of the Nvidia tablet. There are phones being launched with 4000 to 5000 mah batteries, they could even fit a 7000 mah one there if they wanted. For batteries, size does matter more than anything.
5 hours would be good. Anything over that is perfect.
5 hours sounds good to me, 8 hours even better
though wonder how long the charge times are

Just have to wait and see?. The Switch isn't becoming or going to be a mini all in one home computer/phone though. Nintendo isn't really about streaming music or wireless headphones, if you want that you have Apple and Google, Nintendo is about the games first and formost.
If you saw how the last Nintendo chat app went you'll also know that they removed it and just went with a friends list. So I highly doubt there will be a specially designed chat app for mobile devices to chat to someone on a Switch. You are really strange in that you force yourself to do things that most people use a PC or laptop for every day tasks and work. Consoles aren't going to become desktops and they aren't going to take over the entire world in such a way either.
Nintnendo aren't going to make phone computers period.
