5 hours is really the minimum acceptable.

I'd be ok with 6 hours and no wifi on.

I think its very likely they used the tegra x1 chip in the devkits and now are using a custom pascal chip with similar performance but better energy effiency.

mobile gaming is always about compromises.

if the battery performance is better the power will be lower. They could basically use a similar ship higher clocked with more power but less energy effiency ;) Its always a trade if so if your fine with 3-5 hrs this shouldnt be "great" for you if you want an system thats as powerfull as possible
