KBG29 said: Yeah, just have to wait and see. I am holding out hope that they will at least offer a 4G version. I don't see how a device can even exist in todays market without video and music streaming options. As long as they offer voice and text chat via a Nintendo App for ios and android, then I can get by, just like I do with Vita right now. Ultimatly, I would like a Vita or Switch like device from Sony, Nintendo, or Microsoft that had full phone support so I could get my home security without needing another phone, and I would have a safe avenue to make emergency calls. At the end of the day I see little value in a non 3G/4G mobile device, and I see zero value in a device that has no buttons or joysticks. So there is nothing on the market currently that I feel deserves any of my money. I am really, really hoping Nintendo can finally deliver the product that Vita should have evolved into with a 4G and Phone model in its 2nd or 3rd year. |
Just have to wait and see?. The Switch isn't becoming or going to be a mini all in one home computer/phone though. Nintendo isn't really about streaming music or wireless headphones, if you want that you have Apple and Google, Nintendo is about the games first and formost.
If you saw how the last Nintendo chat app went you'll also know that they removed it and just went with a friends list. So I highly doubt there will be a specially designed chat app for mobile devices to chat to someone on a Switch. You are really strange in that you force yourself to do things that most people use a PC or laptop for every day tasks and work. Consoles aren't going to become desktops and they aren't going to take over the entire world in such a way either.
Nintnendo aren't going to make phone computers period.
