Incredible sales... just as expected. 2017 looks even better !

Do you think PS4 will be up YoY in 2017?

Yes I do.

I believe so too. Lower prices on all consoles better bundles. If we see all those games that are supposed to come in 2017, actually release, then there is a huge inventive to invest on a playstation

All we know for sure, whether up or down YOY Playstation sales in 2017 and 2018 will be insane and a joy to behold. As an avid sales enthusiast i'm really looking forward to the years ahead. Especially as a Playstation fan.

Yh. I mean i wamt things to keep going up as much as the next guy, but if sony can hit 54/54M this year, it doesn't really matter if it goes up YOY in 2017 or any other year for that matter. Then it becomes more important that it maintains a 15M yearly average over the next 3yrs and it still gets to hit that all important 100M consoles sold. 

Though I feel next year will be it's peak year and we will see YOY increases. Technically, the better it does next year, the less it will have to do in 2018/2019. 

Lets say it does 55M this year. What will it have sold in 2016 only? 

Around 19M for 2016 only. Sales, not shipments. 

If i recall at the start of this year it was at around 35.9 or so. 

ok so not including December it sold over 14M this year. Yeah I can seee it doing 19/20M total. Next year it could actually be up on that. But I expect 2018 to be similar to. 2019 and beyond is too far away to call.
