Maybe to show a new trailer? He could have possibly shown a gameplay trailer at PSX... There could have been many things they could have done differently that wasn't at the VGA

They are doing a panel , he have 30 minutes or more all to himself, you thing trailers are cheap ? You wanted 2 trailers lol

Gameplay? no even next E3 it you will see it.

It is being funded by Sony so its not that hard to expect a trailer at Sony's own press conference... They could have planned it so they would leave something exclusively for the PSX press conf...

I doubt it would have been that hard to plan to have an exclusive trailer just for PSX... Considering it is being funded by Sony, I don't see why they couldn't have had an exclusive trailer.

Cause they could have planned to show something at the VGA and leave something for PSX...

Granted perhaps having the gameplay trailer is a bit unrealistic but it was a suggestion.

You must clearly know something about early game development that the rest of us don't.

Anyhow, there was no reason to waste resources and time making 2 different trailers. This is just common sense, especially for a game that is still early in dvelopment.

Would have been Sony's press conference a lot better if they did... And I doubt it would have wasted that much if they pre-planned it.

The trailer at the VGA for example was 4 minutes long with 2 major reveals. One was Del Toro and the other was Mads. I don't see why they couldn't have only shown the Del toro at VGA and Madz at PSX as an example.

vane was the new announcement that got me interested. everything else relevant were updates to games i already knew about.

ps. nothing wrong with a wipeout hp remaster but without vr indication i can't get exited at the moment.

Dude received one epic award, gave one awsome speech and showed is new game. It was perfect the way it was, now he can talk about his game  at psx in a panel. It made perfect sense this way.

They have something exclisive for psx ITS THE PANEL ...

They could have shown half the trailer at VGA with Del Toro and left the Other half for PSX as an example and it would have still been epic. Would have made the conference a lot more exciting...

And I know they have a panel for the PSX but a trailer would have been better since most people including me just tune in for the press conference.

Not really. Pairing it up with Kojimas award and speech was a lot better timing, especially since it most likely hit a large non-PS audience.

And again, where does Kojima and his team have the resources and time?

Sure they could do your suggestion, (cause it is realistic) but end up cutting up a pretty epic trailer. The Del Toro bit by itself wouldn't have nearly the same impact. Its really the latter half of that trailer that sells the whole thing.

But if they planned it, they could have hit both... And again, it depends on how they were going to present the trailers.

I think it would have still made a great impact cause the first half was mysterious as it is and we wouldn't have known anything about the second part.

Then at PSX, they reveal the second half while hyping about it on Social Media before hand which would make more people tune in for the PSX which would have been much better for Sony while keeping the hype going.

The point is, if they planned it, depending on how they planned it, they could have done it quite a few ways. They could have even made the Del toro part a bit differently to make it more exciting if they planned the Mads part for PSX.

TLOU2

Enough said. 10/10

The PS5 Exists.

Great conference to finish up the year. Could have used a little Bloodborne 2 love, but hey, that's what E3 is there for right?

Naughty Dog delivered today, holy shit!

Why isnt there just a: "It was good" option in the poll?

Double post sorry

The conference wasnt as good as  E3 but it wasnt bad either, TLOU 2 stands out as the biggest announcement as well as Uncharted Lost Legacy, personally i was ready to be done with the franchise at the 4th game, but giving the role of protagonist to Chloe makes it feel fresh enough to make me interested, however i would indeed have prefered if they moved on to a new franchise.

Ace Combat 7, the new Nino Kuni, Niear Automata, Marvel VS Capcom Infinity, Nioh and Yakuza where all great too have at the conference, but except for MVC all of those where games i already knew about and not new announcements.
