Speaking of the grid, I noticed there's an entire grid dedicated to "wait mode". Perks seem pretty nifty, has anybody played with wait mode yet?

Played with weit mode all the time because there is zero reason not to use it. Has only benefits.

Basically. You see enemy weaknesses, you can stop the game to know where enemies are when things get to crowded... I don't see any reasons to not use it. Also, those "grid" benefits.

The only thing i hate about wait mode is that it goes into the mode automatically when standing still when i wish it was a button or something.

Platinum complete for FFXV, still got more stuff to do though

Does the blu orbs (where you get the debased coins) respawn when you sleep or is their spawn just freaking random. I expected them to reappear in the same spot all the time (after 24 in game hours) but they ain't there. lol

I'm not sure but I remember reading somewhere that treasures and blue dots respawn when you go to tipster and choose to see information about the area again.

I cannot imagine toilet-free life.

Kebabs have a unique attribute compared to other consumables. To unlock this effect you need to wolf down a big ass kebab really fast, like under 10 minutes or so and wait for the effect to kick in. If done correctly your movements should feel unbelievably heavy to the point where you literally cannot move at all.

I'm about to put in Kingsglaive, then immediately after, I will be starting my journey.

should be fun. Here's hoping I don't hate it like I did XIII.

Let us know your thoughts. I had a blast watching the movie knowing the game was coming.

Thoughts on the movie: First act was pretty terrible, but second and third acts were both pretty damn good. Was on the edge of my seat!

Thoughts on the game:  It's very unique, and I am really liking it.  The combat, the character dynamic, most of the open world dynamics.   If the story sticks the landing it could have a place on my favorites list.  From what I hear, it doesn't.

but the game is just so unique!  I keep trying to compare its battle system to XII and Kingdom hearts, and it's not like either of those.  Kudos for the team creating something wholly original.  Sure, it doesn't QUITE have the depth and variety I'd like, but it's still a lot of fun.  Only on chapter 1, busy with work and tending to my pets and my writing, but I am enjoying every minute I spend in Eos so far.

I just wish the story was more global and less local.  One of my favorite things about previou Final Fantasy games is that it was a globetrotting, world-ending adventure.  This one, from what I know, is certainly not that, almost all of the story is Noctis and friends.  Not a bad story, but not a good Final Fantasy story.

It's still early, I'll see if that stays my opinion.

My Console Library:

PS5, Switch, XSX

PS4, PS3, PS2, PS1, WiiU, Wii, GCN, N64 SNES, XBO, 360

3DS, DS, GBA, Vita, PSP, Android

Now that I've done some post-game stuff and the honeymoon period is wearing off, I gotta say the battle system is becoming worse and worse. During the main story it was fun and felt controllable...

Camera sucks, lock-on sucks, party members suck, multiple enemy encounters suck, items are OP and that's why they suck...combat is not balanced at all and honestly all the camera and lock-on problems are unforgivable. And not only combat but everything. FFXV just does not have the level of polish you would expect from a Final Fantasy game, just compare FFXV to WoFF and it's clear FFXV is a rushed mess. There's so many little design fails which on their own could be overlooked and harmless but not when they are all in one single game. SE knows this better than anyone and that's why it's no surprise that after one week, yes after one WEEK of release SE has already announced they are patching fuckin story.

I cannot believe I'm saying this but....I'm starting to feel FFXIII is better game than FFXV 1.0.
