Seems like you're pulling shit out of your ass because everybody here is saying the Tech Support is good.

Let me just google bad experiences with Windows 10 and see what comes up. |
Why "Windows 10" instead of "Xbox" or "Microsoft"?
And why "bad experiences" instead of "bad tech support"?
If you google for "bad experience" you will find examples for every product or company.
Good for you, but not all of us get so lucky. For example, if you live ina small country on europe, or Brazil, or any small country around the world actually, things start to to get nasty. In those countries, if nintendo distribute their consoles officially, its usually just one techinical support store for the entire country, usually under a license deal, get it? In those places, reapiar free of charge simple doesn't exist, you always have to pay for the transport, and repair most of the time.
Besides, i think people don't like nitnendo thecinhical support because they have to call it for the most basic things, like if you console get stolen or you decide to sell it, for example.
"Hardware design isn’t about making the most powerful thing you can.
Today most hardware design is left to other companies, but when you make hardware without taking into account the needs of the eventual software developers, you end up with bloated hardware full of pointless excess. From the outset one must consider design from both a hardware and software perspective."

Good points. From my experience the Windows help or self diagnosis tools in Windows to solve driver issues or whatever never work. Such as if your internet connection stops working there is a self diagnosis tool you can select. It never fixes shit. So their self help tools rarely work. I understand PC environment with shitloads of different devices can lead to compatibility issues. I have never tried calling them but perhaps once found help in one of their forums. Usually when you check the forums for a problem it never really gets answered or people say that didn't work for me but this did which in turn usually doesn't work for you.
Their technical support is pretty good, but their customer service is a bit more questionable, though I didn't have any problems with either when I called in for problems

I... didn't even realize that when I typed it earlier, but that's awesome. ~_~

My anecdotal testimony isn't supposed to prove anything. I'm just always satisfied whenever I have to call the support line, and I felt like making a thread detailing my latest exerience. I often see posts from people who have never had to send in a broken console, on this site and others, mention how worried they are about losing their data or not receiving proper service, and I just wanted to share my experience.

Yeah, and my dog ate my homework. Why even mention that "proof", if it can't be shown? ;) Besides that, I'm sure Nintendo's tech support is just as good as the tech supports of the competitors. They will have all have many helpful people and a few bad apples. |
With that logic, why do I see you posting in rumor threads all of the time?
And also, where the fuck did I say anything about "proof"? I don't need to prove anything to you. I just wanted to show everyone how simple and easy it is to put in a work order with Nintendo. Recording and uploading it would be easier and more interesting than typing out a narration. If you don't want to believe it, then don't.

The problem is in all likelihood with the SD card in my phone. I've passed it between three different phones by now without formatting it, and it gives me other problems too, like not being able to save pictures and playlists or occassionally requiring me to restart the phone to view any media on it. I also use to have it sync with my cloud drives, which caused even more mishaps with OTA updating. I could probably fix all of this by just formatting the damn thing, but I'm too lazy.
And from my experience, Win10 has the best diagnosis tools to date (I like Windows 8's as well). With XP and 7, I wouldn't even waste my time with that crap. With 8 and 10, I can actually fix problems on the spot every once in a while. I'm being honest when I say that as much as I hated Win 8, the diagnostic tools were a big reason (but not the only) why I didn't downgrade back down to 7.
