And looking at that..... Sony should easily win this.

We now have both sides equipped with ammunition.

One side says that due to the massive shipments and discounts, MS will win BF and the month easily.
The other side says that due to the launch of a new console, Sony should win easily.

It would be a humiliating loss if Sony loses this month. And who knows? Maybe they are losing. There are some insane price drops that happened with PS4 and even Pro. You almost never hear of price cuts so soon after launch.

Especially for the Pro this is really, really surprising. You could get one for $339 AFAIR instead of $399 and this is the launch month. I wonder why the discounts where necessary.

I'm thinking the price cut was due to the (relatively) bad press. Sony wants more people to get the pro so they could start a good word of mouth.

They weren't neccessary, Target has a 15% discount on pretty much everything, and Amazon was price matching them.

All the XB1 consoles are also 15% cheaper. I'm sure you already knew this though, you've been coming off extemely salty in all your posts I've read.
