The thing is, they're not taking anything though. They don't take healthcare, they're given it. They don't take jobs, they're hired to do them. Why are they given healthcare? Shouldn't the government be blamed for that instead of the immigrants? What about the jobs? It's it the employers' fault instead of the immigrants'? They literally can't take anything unless they go criminal and steal things, and I don't think the point of this thread is criminal immigrants. I also don't think anyone's defending criminal immigrants. And in case you're pedantic, I don't include illegal crossing of the border in 'criminal' here.

But they earned the money, it`s their right to send it to their families. And for this thinking, an American worker also can`t save money and go travel in Brazil or Europe because the money wouldn`t be spent in USA.

The biggest thing is most people don't realize how immigrants actually help the country because they're typically uneducated. The reality of the situation is the immigrants that are "Stealing" our jobs? I guarantee you most of the people wouldn't do those jobs anyways. Picking up people's shit/cleaning sewage/drivers etc. The thing also is these immigrants tend to work 12+ hour long shifts as well. The complainers don't realize this, and don't realize how most immigrants get paid below minimum wage as well. I know people who get paid only 6 an hour, only to work 15+ hours to support their families. Now the natives will go into those jobs expecting to be hired, when in reality even IF they were hired they couldn't put in half the work ethic that the immigrants could.

I'm just making my case. Sending money to Mexico means it won't be spent in the United States.

America benefits tremendously from immigration because the native population is quite frankly some what stupid. I read a study that even American college graduates fare poorly when compared against comparable people from other countries.

The reason they're able to be competitive in high end in fields like techology and medical is because America poaches a lot of the brightest/best from India, China, and other countries. Those countries quite frankly should be pissed off about that.

Those people are the real economic drivers.

It's because the employers don't intrude on their daily lives by involving a sizeable number of people who don't speak English. Make no mistake, employers who hire illegals need to be dealt with, but people dislike illegals for inconveniencing their daily lives. (Never said the reason isn't petty, btw)

America benefits from immigration, yes. But the topic here is illegal immigration. If a doctor wants to come to the US, they can easily get a sponsor. It's the talentless masses who come in illegally that puts strain on social and economic situations in America.
