Wow, that's very impressive, and I'm rarely impressed by these fan-things. I'm don't believe in a live-action Zelda film, but if they made it like this it could most definitely be very cool.

Incredible. A brilliant of example of both how a Zelda film could be done right but also how OOT/MM artstyle could be translated with future powerful hardware. I recall people turning their nose at UE4 fanmade projects of Zelda but putting it down to the engine & realistic graphics, instead of pointing the fingure at the artstyle (or lack of) employed by the makers. At the rate of mobile tech acceleration Switch 2 will outpace PS4 Pro by a comfortable margin and I want to see it ditch cartoony rendering for realism.

A lot of times fanmade projects seem a little off to me because of their interpretation, but I think this one pretty much nails it in terms of staying true to the original esthetic and essence while still being high production.

edit- the fairies still seemed off though, I think of them as glowing bright but still more outlined than what they showed.

I didn't expect it to be, but it was awesome! :o

This is beautiful and disturbing at the same time, perfectly capturing it's source material. :D

Oh my fucking god, that was simply amazing.

Oh wow. Leave it to Nintendo fans to do the great things Nintendon't.

Pretty sure it's because nintendo doesn't make films...?

Though I do anticipate them making some in the future. Their art styles can make it easy to create a beautiful movie

12/22/2016- Made a bet with Ganoncrotch that the first 6 months of 2017 will be worse than 2016. A poll will be made to determine the winner. Loser has to take a picture of them imitating their profile picture.

They could, though.

(I'm mostly just irritated by their denial of fan projects, namely how they needlessly eliminated AM2R from the Game Awards.)

And if a Zelda movie ever happens, god I wish it is an animated one and has a direction similar to this one.

You're kinda asking for it when you utilize actual (or similar) assets from the games they're influenced from. It's like Pokemon Uranium as it uses the damn name and it shows similar assets. All rights reserved as indicated on every game made.

Very well made.
