Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Laura Kate Dale: Ubisoft Developing Rabbids & Mario Crossover RPG For Switch Launch Day

honestly an RPG crossover with Rayman and Mario is kind of exciting. Just with the hope of it possibly being somewhat darker. Rayman is not always that bright for anyone who has played the recent version

It's a crossover with Rabbids, I wouldn't expect to see Rayman.

WTF..... that sounds really... strange? stupid? unexpected?

Not sure a Rabbids SRPG is a good fit at all.

Guys, do you remember those Nintendo statements about being more open to let other studios use their IPs?

Well, maybe it wasn't such a great idea after all!

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

I fucking hate those rabbids. Why nintendo would wanna pair them up with mario is beyond me but clearly, they know something I don't.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

It's kind of a downer to see people scoff at the game because of character design.

If the mechanics and gameplay are solid, who cares if there are some weird-looking rabbits?

I guess Square have their plates full with DQXI, FFXV, FFVIIR, FFXII HD,  Kingdom hearts 3 and a bunch of other bits and bobs.

I think Nintendo needed someone else to develop and Ubi was willing if they got teh chance to grow their rabbids IP.
