I love mario, but fuck mario. Im not waiting anymore, give me the fucking zelda game or else... I'll cry a lot and play mario while I wait...:(

Mario has done it before. And it has been around 3+ years since Nintendo Tokyo EAD said they were working on their next "challenge".

I am expecting a great game every month for the first 6 then again in December!

Mario, Pikmin 4 and Splatoon Ultimate edition, with Zelda a few months later, sounds like a good start to me.

Then Nintendo just need to make sure they have a good holiday lineup

Maybe it really is about not overloading the launch line up. To give consumers a line up of games that they can look forward to over the course of the year. If Zelda is gonna be delayed by a few months then that's fine. We've waited for about 5 years so a few more months won't hurt, especially when we're potentially getting 3D Mario first. It's hard to debate whether either or should lead the launch since Zelda would be a great launch title but you can never go wrong with 3D Mario.

It may be another year to wait. Doubt it will release in summer instead of holiday 2017.

The thing is that this Mario may not move as many consoles AT LAUNCH as TP for Wii. The initial shortage of the console was mainly due to the rabid Zelda fans who bought to play TP on it. Sales have already prove it and even Reggie bragged about it back in 2006.

Mario is more like an evergreen title unlike Zelda which is frontloaded.

With Zelda on launch it was a lock that the forecast was outsold easily. Not with Mario.

Maybe we could see Zelda BotW in May, remember in May 2014. we had Mario Kart 8, in May 2015. we had Splatoon, so in May 2017. for Switch maybe we can have Zelda BotW.

My hope is for march, but I'm tired of Nintendo.

You also should credit Wii Sports for selling consumers on the motion control concept. It was a brilliant move to package the game with the Wii.
