If I were to merge the 3rd games together, I may as well ask which gen is the best rather than the games itself, which is why I chose to keep them separate

I understand that, but they are practically identical games. It's weird to split the Yellow/Red vote when they are 99% identical. Fire Red has more of a difference to Red than Yellow in all but name.

However Black/White 2 are quite different to the first ones so that's where it breaks the mould of just being "which gen". I believe Platinum was a little more different than previous third installments too, though I'm not sure to what extent.

I originally wanted to separate out the 3rd games, and by doing so, would have to separate out the remakes as well, but that goes against the rules I have set up since the beginning. The 3rd games are really similar in the same manner as remakes so I considered merging them as well :/
