I understand that, but they are practically identical games. It's weird to split the Yellow/Red vote when they are 99% identical.

However Black/White 2 are quite different to the first ones so that's where it breaks the mould of just being "which gen". I believe Platinum was a little more different than previous third installments too, though I'm not sure to what extent.

I've been debating on this topic for quite some time, and asked for many opinions for the best way to go

I originally wanted to separate out the 3rd games, and by doing so, would have to separate out the remakes as well, but that goes against the rules I have set up since the beginning. The 3rd games are really similar in the same manner as remakes so I considered merging them as well :/

In the results, I'll have a separate graph for merged results though
