China would sell their stuff to the rest of the world. China would gain more from this situation than US.

China has a tight economic relationship with all the developed and developing nations. Chinese products sell everywhere, even in Africa and South America, you can't say the same about American made products.

No, China biggest customer is USA. If we leave China would go through a great depression. That and we can probably get NATO on board and sanction them. Just like we did to Russia.

Other NATO nations will be a lot more likely to put "sanctions" on the US if Trump really apply his isolationist program, than on China. You think that China is the only country worried about Trump, and that other countries do not think about response if Trump revoke some treaties and stops imports? Trump wants to say "F*ck you" to a lot of countries, and you think they will go to war with him against China? Good luck with that.

Nato is a military force comprised of some EU nations. They do not dictate economic policies in the union or to other European countries.

Opportunistic businesses in Europe would steal the moment to acquire Chinese made goods and resell them in the US. Would US impose sanctions on them as well?

If you also think US wouldn't go into recession as well, you're in for a suprise.

No, NATO will stick to United States for protection and money reasons. Thats why they all agree to sanction Russia. A lot of those european countries will be taken over if it weren't for the United States.

Those european countries will then get no protection from United States which means they will get taken over and have their economy and nation destroyed. Russia would love to take over some of those EU countries.

Trump basically said that he won't support NATO anymore and that other countries have to learn how to defend themselves without the US. We have nuclear missiles too and won't be invaded by any other country, so don't worry about us.

Just for information: a lot of France presidency candidates (on the likely winning side) are saying and said for a while now that we should get a lot closer to Russia. And Trump's election just gave a lot more weight to these arguments. You have the right to think that Europe loves the US and that we will do anything for your crazy president. We won't and a lot of us would be happy to see Trump failing. A lot of countries didn't follow you in Irak, you didn't follow us in Libya, we weren't able to agree on an intervention in Syria. And you want everyone to agree on a war to China? Once again, good luck with that ^^.

By the way, the sanctions against Russia were about Ukraine, a EU/Russia argument (EU wanted an economic agreement with Ukraine, Russia didn't want it basically). The US were the ones following the EU in this case, not the other way around.

You really think Russia want to get in wars? Russia has no hungry military industrial complex to feed like the US.

If anything, Boeing, Northrup Grumman and other American companies would sell their bellic products to the europeans behing US back.

Russians wouldn't want to sever ties with their biggest energy consumers. They're not some troglodytes from the 80's action movies.

Ucranian agression was done for economic and military survival of Russia. Not because they were bored at Kremlin. Ukraine was not an ideal customer for them like the EU countries.

China needs America and America needs China right now. If Trump is really going to try and bring back all the business and jobs lost to other countries, he's going to need a military that can back him up with ease. Which is probably one of the reasons Trump wants to strengthen the military so badly.
Add in the fact that Trump is a bit of a wildcard as a politician, and will be for this entire first term, other nations will be weary to cause too much trouble for America, fearing what may come of it. Trump has many advantages in his position right now, which should work to his advantage based on what he wants to accomplish.

PS1   - ! - We must build a console that can alert our enemies.

PS2  - @- We must build a console that offers online living room gaming.

PS3   - #- We must build a console that’s powerful, social, costs and does everything.

PS4   - $- We must build a console that’s affordable, charges for services, and pumps out exclusives.

PS5   - ^ -We must build a console that’s a generational cross product, with RT lighting, and price hiking.

PRO  -&- We must build a console that Super Res upscales and continues the cost increases.

The myths that the OP spouts ...

"And China also holds a huge amount of US debt, if they called that in, the US would be in massive trouble.", this is wrong on so many levels I don't even know where to begin ...

China only holds around 7% of all US debts and there's a reason why treasury bonds have "maturity dates" so it doesn't work like that FYI ...

"China is not only far bigger economically, they are bigger militarily too", LOL wut ?

China doesn't even yet compare to the United States if we're talking about true purchasing power based around the current benchmark. As far as China having a bigger military, maybe manpower wise but asset wise it's not even close since they only own like 1 aircraft carrier ...

You think Putin will care if those EU impose sanctions? Some of those EU countries don't have a lot of money. United States right now controls the economy. They can turn a nation of riches to a third world country in a heart beat. America didn't like Russia expanding into Ukraine as well. Not just EU countries. So the sanctions was something they could agree on. Trump doesn't want to leave or hate NATO. He believe we are being treated unfairly by NATO because they aren't paying for our protection or doing their part. United States will never leave NATO because we gain too much from just like the rest of the countries in NATO gain a lot from United States. Protection, stronger economy, ect.
