I think the nes classic is a good idea, but the original xbox classic will be better and awesome.

Here are my must have picks.

Halo series, Half Life 2, Project Gotham, Splinter Cell Games, Crimson Skies, Jade empire, Ninja Gaiden, Doom 3, SW old republic. Let me know what you think.

Most of these games have a much better version on other systems, so I don't see the appeal.

  • Halo 1: "Anniversary Edition" on Xbox360 or Xbox One (or even the Halo 1 PC-version)
  • Halo 2: "Anniversary Edition" on Xbox360 or Xbox One (or even the Halo 2 PC-version)
  • Half-Life 2: PC-version of "The Orange Box" (or Xbox360- or PS3-Version of "The Orange Box")
  • Project Gotham: racing games don't age very well and are redundant to the successor, better play the 360-versions of PGR3 or PGR4
  • Splinter Cell 1: PC versions (or the classic trilogy in HD on PS3)
  • Crimson Skies: PC-version
  • Jade Empire + SW KotOR: PC-versions (... and even the iOS- and Android-versions are better than the Xbox-version)
  • Doom 3: PC-version of the "BFG Edition" (or Xbox360- or PS3-Version of  the "BFG Edition")
  • Ninja Gaiden: PS3 version (Ninja Gaiden Sigma)

So does the NES because of emulators. However, a cheap console will be sufficent to run these games and as a novelty will attract many people.

What would be the point?

You can already play all the Halo and Gears games on Xbox One, as well as everything Rare has done. MS has very little else to show for their 15 years in the console market

IF they do, CALL OF CTHULHU please. And a adorable little gigantic controler

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

Too early. It has only been 15 years.

This is the correct answer.

I don't think the OG Xbox has the same nostalgia power than the mini NES, also, I don't think it built the same kind of legacy as ps1 or ps2 for that matter

In 15 more years maybe. I would add Shenmue II,Metal Wolf Chaos,Otogi 1-2 and Jet Set Radio Future.

Let's wait another 15 years, eh?
