Nay? A second hint it is then.

#39: In Europe, the name of this game implies it to have something to do with Greek mythology, but in the Americas it just sounds diabolical.

Hint 2: One of the puzzles indeed was pretty diabolical, not in theme but it took me some to realize that it was a fountain that if filled with water reflects the top part, so the answer was 13-8.

Actually, I didn't remember the puzzle you talk about in the second hint, but when I have read "puzzles" I've realized what was the first hint about... Shame on me because I have the same game on my list (although I thought that the game was only called "Pandora's box" in the Spanish version, not in all Europe.

It's tiime for hint 38 -

This game is the 1st to feature a dark version of a fan favorite character, as well as splitting the story into 2 parts. This was also the last solid game in this series before it went in all sorts of weird directions.

Didn't see S.Peelman had already answered, lol, dammit.

Muhaha, credit is mine.

I wasn't following who guessed my games, but I've decided to start counting the guessers. I give 1 point for each correct answer (only for the first user) and 0.5 for each significative help (like guessing the franchise but not the game, for example), except if the same user finally guesses the game (then he/she will obtain 1 point).

User Guess Help Total points
S.Peelman 4 0 4
Slarvax 3 1 3.5
axumblade 2 0 2
Platina 2 0 2
mZuzek 1 1 1.5
Ka-pi96 1 0 1

39 - The Legend of Zelda: a Link to the Past

My first Zelda was Ocarina of Time, so I’ve always preferred the 3D Zelda games over the 2D ones. However, it’s impossible to deny the greatness of this SNES adventure. The huge World encouraged exploration, and the dungeons were delightful, with a great design and a challenging difficulty. The GBA version, the first one I played, came bundled with Four Swords Adventures. I almost didn't play it, but was a nice addition anyway.

Hint for the 39: In the final fight, the boss kisses you under a circumstance.

#39 Mega Man 2

One of the best 2D platformers ever made, with some of the greatest 8-bit music in history. For many, this is the peak of the classic Mega Man series, and in terms of pure quality I'd probably agree, but there is one game from the original series that I have a specific fondness for due to nostalgia, which raises it higher.

Can you guess the next one?

A fairly recent indy RPG with a very strong focus on story, which packs quite an emotional punch. A sequel is coming at some point in the future.
