Alright, hint 46:

-You're in charge of building up and managing successful.... hospitals? You hire doctors, nurses and janitors, cure people, and build up new tech to cure more complex illness. You'll be dealing with the usual cold, but also... an invisible disease? And the illnesses just get weirder from there.

47- Half-Life 2

It's hard to find something wrong with HL2. I enjoy playing this game as much as I did back in 2004.

Hints:
40- Initial reception was lukewarm, but the game ended up being loved by both gamers and critics.
39- You can moonwalk in this game.
38- This was a welcomed installment after the previous one ended up being a disappointment. It's also considered to be a very difficult game.

#48 Xenoblade Chronicles X - This is the only game on my list that I haven't yet completed around 40-50 hours into my play through but I felt it deserved to creep into the top 50, How the rest goes will decide whether it stays in it next year.

You're moving fast.

Anyway 39: Castlevania? Either that or Michael Jackson's Moonwalker on Genesis.

Here's my hints 45 and 44:

#45: You are practically given every possible decision in the given situation, but regardless of your decisions, you really do question if "right" and "wrong" should even be considered real concepts...

#44: Costumes galore for beating the game and finding secrets, and a "what if" mode where all the characters have... interesting things to say.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

I've thought of quite a few games already that should be on my list. Annoying

Anyway, #46: gorgeous JRPG, with some familiar combat mechanics
