Journey is an experience that's unlike any other I can think of in video games. There's just nothing quite like it, even if other games have since tried to emulate its formula. There's just something beautiful about the game that's difficult to put into words. It's visually stunning, the soundtrack is excellent, but what truly sets Journey apart from other games is its quiet atmosphere. Video games are usually a very goal oriented medium. You're always trying to achieve the next big goal, but Journey is more about just what it names says, the journey.
